It is critical that you use First Pitch dimpled baseballs or softballs for your First Pitch pitching machine. The accuracy and consistency of each pitch depends upon how well the pitching machine wheel grips the outer surface of the ball.  First Pitch pitching machines are optimized for First Pitch pitching machine balls.
